PFC Flexible Circuits Limited, a division of OSI Electronics, is seeking a Wet Process Operator who will perform chemical processing steps used in the production of printed circuit boards, ensuring all materials meet internal quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating wet process equipment, following documented procedures, and maintaining a safe, efficient workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This individual will support first shift operations (7:30am to 4:00pm).
Responsibilities
- Proper handling and operation of all Chemcut lines used to clean, develop, etch and strip the panels.
- Operating, maintenance, inspection, replenishment and proper disposal of all department equipment as required such as Chem Clean, Developer, Etcher & Film Stripper tanks.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and audits (start-up, in-process, and end-of-shift) to confirm safe operation, proper guarding/interlocks, acceptable solution levels, and overall line condition.
- Enter all jobs, movements, and required process data into the manufacturing tracking system (CIMNET), ensuring traceability (e.g., lot numbers, counts, timestamps, hold/rework status as needed).
- Read and interpret job travelers to verify that all previous operations were completed.
- Verify quantity, workmanship, and product quality produced by the wet process/Chemcut lines using defined acceptance criteria (e.g., etch quality, resist/film strip completeness, surface condition) and perform in-process checks at required intervals.
- Receive routine production instructions and prioritize work to maintain optimal wet process line conditions, throughput, and on-time completion while minimizing scrap and rework.
- Maintain a safe, neat, and organized work area, including chemical storage areas, spill kits, tools, and documentation stations; respond appropriately to spills and near-misses per site policy.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 1+ years’ experience working in the printed circuit board industry or any similar manufacturing related industry required.
- Ability to understand process travelers, customer specifications and tolerances specified on travelers or drawings desired.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to cross-train.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds, without assistance, required.
- Experience with chemical etching, plating, or other wet-processing operations a plus.
- Must have experience with measuring tools (e.g., optical measurement microscope, calipers, pin gauge, microscope reticle, digital multi-meter) and test tools (e.g., high voltage power supply, multi-meters).
- Basic computer skills for data entry, reviewing travelers, and completing documentation required.
- Must be able to work with, and properly handle, lab chemicals as per Company procedures.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in the business language (English).
- Flexibility when it comes to working hours (e.g. overtime, weekends) required.
