The Work
Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:
• Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions.
• Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.
• Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to accomplish technical objectives
• Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership on technical matters as required.
• Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments.
• Shift work may be required
• This position involves the ability to travel
domestically and internationally as needed to
support site installs, checkout and integration
testing.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree combined with 8 years of related experience in integration, test and verification of complex systems
- Deep understanding of radar principles, antenna theory and signal processing techniques
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in the integration and test of complex systems
- Demonstrated experience in managing schedules and coordinating cross-functional activities
- Strong background in requirements management and requirements verification processes
- Proficiency with MATLAB for data analysis, Python or C++, and working in a Linux environment
- Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts and weekends as required by the supported program
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret
level clearance

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $110,500 - $198,422.
