About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented candidate to join our Design Team, focusing on our Hurley lines. The ideal applicant will play a crucial role in supporting design and ensuring that our creative visions translate seamlessly into high-quality garments.
Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Collaborate closely with the design team to understand creative concepts.
- Develop and create accurate technical packages. That would include the following:
- Creating on AI files for Color Pages/ BW detail pages/ specific detailed construction pages/ Trim Pages in AI
- Input of the above information into PLM
- Creating BOM
- Issuing the tech Pack and communicating with cross-functional teams about passing TP to the maker
- Maintain all necessary updates and communicate updated information.
- Work closely with the Design team to troubleshoot and resolve related issues.
- Provide technical expertise during the design pass off, advising on construction techniques, fabrications, and finishing details.
- Evaluate proto samples, ensuring they align with design intent and quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturing processes to continually enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company's needs and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or Technical Fashion Design
- 2-3 years of experience in the design/technical design field
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional multitasking, communication, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Computer Skills: PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, or other systems as needed, a plus
- Fast acting and adaptable to change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
