Position Overview
Alba-Golden ISD is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide to support learning. This position works closely with the classroom teachers to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes student growth and development. This position could include coaching responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom instruction and activities
- Support students with learning tasks, routines, and transitions
- Help prepare instructional materials and maintain classroom organization
- Monitor and supervise students in the classroom, cafeteria, playground
- Assist with other campus activities/duties as needed
- Foster positive relationships with students and contribute to a supportive learning environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate preferred
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with students
- Successful results of criminal and employment background check.

Hourly Rate: $12.10-$17.06 based on experience.
