Job Summary:**
Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Service Plumber to perform a variety of plumbing tasks in commercial and industrial settings. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems to ensure optimal functionality and client satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform routine and emergency service calls for commercial plumbing systems, including water heaters, boilers, pumps, drain lines, and fixtures.
* Diagnose plumbing issues accurately and efficiently using various testing methods and tools.
* Repair or replace faulty plumbing components, including pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
* Install new plumbing systems and equipment according to blueprints, specifications, and local codes.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on commercial plumbing infrastructure to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
* Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
* Operate and maintain various plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
* Document work performed, including parts used, time spent, and recommendations for future service.
* Communicate effectively with clients, explaining plumbing issues and proposed solutions clearly and professionally.
* Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service as required.
* Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site.
Job Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as a commercial service plumber.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, diagrams, product data, and plumbing codes.
* Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and components.
* Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing various plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions.
* Experience with various pipe materials (e.g., copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron) and joining methods.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or various weather conditions.
* OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
* Backflow prevention certification preferred.
