Position Overview:
NHTI is seeking qualified adjunct faculty member(s) to teach the following courses. These courses provide students with essential knowledge in Materials and Methods of Construction, Surveying, Timber & Steel Design, with a focus on practical applications and real-world relevance.
Course Details:
The following courses are held in-person at NHTI campus in Concord, NH.
- Materials & Methods of Construction - ARET 120C (4 Credits)
Course Schedule:
- Section 1 - Monday & Wednesday 12:30 pm � 2:20 pm
- Section HY (Hybrid) - Wednesday 10:00 am � 11:50 am & Thursday 12:30 pm � 2:20 pm
- Surveying � CVET 220C (3 Credits)
Course Schedule:
- Section 1 � Lecture (2 Hours) Tuesday 10:00 am - 11:50 am
- Section 1A � Lab (3 Hours) Friday 8:30 am - 11:20 am
- Section 1B � Lab (3 Hours) Friday 11:30 am - 2:20 pm
- Timber & Steel Design � CVET 240C (4 Credits)

- Section 1 � Lecture (3 Hours) Monday & Wednesday 8:30 am - 9:50 am
- Section 1A � Lab (2 Hours) Monday 10:00 am - 11:50 am
- Section 1B � Lab (2 Hours) Wednesday 10:00 am - 11:50 am

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach the assigned course using provided curriculum and instructional materials aligned with program standards.
- Facilitate class discussions, assignments, and assessments to foster student engagement and learning.
- Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Maintain professional currency in the field and comply with college policies and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master�s degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology is preferred or a bachelor�s degree with at least 12 graduate credits in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or a bachelor�s degree in civil engineering, Civil Engineering Technology with 3-5 years of professional experience.
- Experience: Combination of teaching and work experience preferred. Familiarity with Canvas (or similar LMS) preferred.
- Residency: Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT
