PPPO/PPSO Specialist (2 FTEs) – Zarqa, Jordan

Location: Zarqa, Jordan – OCONUS

Employment Type: Full-Time

Clearance Requirement: SECRET

Key Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to Service members and civilians on personal property entitlements in accordance with DTR and JTR.
• Process HHG, POV, and UB shipments, including booking, routing, and coordination with TSPs.
• Perform quality control inspections of inbound and outbound shipments in accordance with JPPSO business rules and DTR requirements.
• Ensure 100% inspection of Army shipments (physical or virtual), with at least 75% conducted in person, and at least 50% in-person inspection of non-Army shipments.
• Manage storage, claims, and shipment documentation (DD Form 1299, 1840R, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records in the Defense Personal Property System (DPS).

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in personal property or transportation operations
• Knowledge of DTR and JTR
• Active SECRET clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in logistics or transportation
• DPS certification
• JPPSO/CPPSO experience

Relevant Systems/Tools DPS, DTR/JTR, Microsoft Office
