Job Description

Description

Ideal schedule: Monday – Thursday, 1:30pm – 12:30am (45 hrs/wk expected)

Now offering a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production process, such as machine operators, fabricators, and general laborers.
  • Follow work schedules, plan assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
  • Confer with other supervisor to coordinate operations and activities between shifts.
  • Read work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
  • Interpret customer specifications, blueprints, job orders, and procedures for workers.
  • Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
  • Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Execute employee performance evaluations and recommend actions such as promotion, demotion or personnel changes.
  • Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems or complaints.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required, some college preferred
  • 3 years Leadership experience preferred
  • Metals experience preferred
  • Blueprint reading ability beneficial
