Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Analyst passionate about driving innovation to make a meaningful difference for our investors and employees.


The position will liaison with senior executives to understand, plan, and drive the prioritization, design, and execution of their technology needs. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three recent years of workflow system design and implementation experience in financial industries with a desire to move to project management. This will be a multi-faceted role with responsibilities including communicating to senior leaders, managing projects and priorities, understanding requirements, providing guidance to engineering teams on implementation direction, improving user experience by interacting with the suite of applications and enforcing adoptions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write detailed specifications on development requests by analyzing and verifying business requirements for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and comprehensibility with business stakeholders
  • Take ownership of existing projects and provide solutions for new business needs
  • Design workflows, features, functions, user interfaces, and other items to suit business needs
  • Monitor project progress and provide status reports
  • Undertake functional and regression testing
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis to remove roadblocks and keep operations running smoothly
  • Proactively solicit requirements from internal and external users
  • Prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously


Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business analysis, statistics, or computer science from a reputable school
  • Minimum of three recent years workflow system design and implementation experience
  • Knowledge of quick prototype tools and latest business and data analysis technologies, proficiency in using various popular software
  • Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated analytical ability with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Solid working understanding of Microsoft Office software especially advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and User-Centered Design a plus
  • SQL experience or previous development experience a plus
  • Strong self-learning and researching skills
  • Excellent written, oral, listening, and interpersonal communication skills


Compensation:

Annual Base Pay Range - $72,500 - $80,000 DOE
