    Title: Concessions Worker
     
    Job Description: Assists in food preparation, service to customers and general cleaning/sanitation of work and serving areas.
     
     
    Criteria: 
     

    A.    Education Level: N/A

     

    B.    Experience Desired: N/A

     

    C.     Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.  Constant standing, hearing, hand-eye- and mind-eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, bending over, stooping, holding and crouching.

     

    D.    Other Requirements: Must be able to accurately handle/count money and make cash change for customers.

      

    Essential Functions and Duties: 
     
    1. Assists with food preparation at designated area(s).
    2. Assists with serving of customers at concessions window(s) including acceptance payment for items purchased and making cash change.
    3. Keeps work area clean and washes all equipment after completion of task and in accordance with South Dakota sanitation and health guidelines.
    4. Follows safety procedures in the use of all equipment.
    5. Performs other duties as assigned by Concessions Event Supervisor.
     

    Reports To: Concessions Event Supervisor

    Receives Guidance From: Concessions Manager


    Working Conditions: 
     
    A. Both Inside and Outside
     
    B. Climatic Environment: Occasionally subjected to cold temperatures below 32 degrees when removing or storing food in freezer. Often subjected to atmospheric conditions of odors and airborne particles.  Continuously wears special clothing in accordance with prescribed dress code & sanitary guidelines.
     
    C. Hazards: Occasionally subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical hazards and extreme heat. Caution also required to avoid potential burns.
