JOB TITLE: GSSP Radical Roots Collective GA
LOCATION: Minneapolis Campus
PAY RATE: $19/hour
HOURS: 5 hours/week Hybrid and Flexible
Job Summary:
The GSPP is seeking applications for a graduate assistant to support the Radical Roots Collective (RRC) for the 2026-2027 academic year. The RRC is a student-led organization dedicated to supporting students with historically marginalized identities through radical healthing and empowerment. This includes but is not limited to Black, Indigenous, People of Color, gender and sexually diverse, first-generation students, and people with disabilities. We are looking for a committed and drivent Graduate Assistant to help foster a space of growth, solidarity, and transformation.
Job Duties:
- Support programing and events focused on radical healing for students with historically marginalized identities.
- Collaborate on workshops and community-building initiatives.
- Engage in meaningful conversations about empowerment and justice within GSPP and the field.
- Help respond to needs of GSPP students with historically marginalized identies.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology (MA or PsyD) at the University of St. Thomas.
- Passion for racial justice and healing within historically marginalized communities.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently' and can work collaboratively with students and staff.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
