Role Description

As an RF Engineer specializing in High Power Design, you will architect and integrate high-power transmitter systems for Rivet’s next-generation platforms. You will design RF front-end architectures, integrate amplifiers and antennas, and validate system performance through rigorous testing. This role demands both deep RF expertise and practical engineering to bring high-power solutions into mass production.


Role Objectives

The objective of this role is to deliver high-power RF subsystems that meet Rivet’s performance, safety, and reliability requirements. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and scaling transmitter systems that form the backbone of Rivet’s advanced communications capabilities


Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong RF fundamentals with expertise in high-power transmitter front-end design and subsystem integration.
  • Experience integrating RF subsystems such as high-power amplifiers, waveguides, isolators, and antennas.
  • Knowledge of power supply design for RF transmitters.
  • Proficiency in RF link budget analysis and system-level performance evaluation.
  • Hands-on experience with RF bring-up, validation, and debugging using test equipment.
  • Familiarity with RF schematic and PCB layout best practices.
  • 3+ years of experience designing RF hardware for mass-produced products.
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage projects independently.
  • Eagerness to take on new challenges, learn continuously, and thrive in a start-up environment.
  • Must be a US Person (citizen or permanent resident).
