Camp kicks off May 26th, and we’re looking for enthusiastic counselors to join the fun!

Our Summer Day Camp—located in
Papillion—serves teens and young adults ages 13–20 with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We're seeking positive, energetic counselors who enjoy helping others grow, learn, and thrive.

What You’ll Do

As a counselor, you’ll work hands-on with participants in a traditional summer camp environment filled with exploration and fun. Activities include:

• Field trips
• Soccer & softball
• Games and team-building activities
• Arts & crafts
• And plenty more summer adventures!

You’ll also play an important role in supporting daily living skills, encouraging positive behaviors, and helping each participant work toward personal goals and achievements.

Requirements

• Option to start earlier and continue year-round employment
• Availability Monday–Friday, approx. 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background checks
• Strong relationship‑building skills
• Positive, upbeat, and friendly attitude
• Great problem‑solving skills and willingness to ask for help when needed
• Dependable, organized, and able to follow directions
• Physically able to work outdoors in varying weather and perform tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs., pushing wheelchairs, walking, running, climbing, and providing continuous visual supervision

 Preferred Experience

• Personal or professional experience with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or intellectual disabilities
