Pay: $60,000 - $68,000 per year

What You’ll Do

As the Assistant Program Director, you will be responsible for the overall clinical and administrative supervision of the ACCS team, staff, and functions, including the day-to-day oversight of the program, supervision of the staff, scheduling, personnel management, and program quality and development.

  • Provide administrative leadership (Administrator in Charge), oversight and direction for
    the Integrated team through the Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA).
  • Provide day-to-day clinical and administrative supervision to LPHA’s, Lead DC III,
    Lead Peer, Substance Use Counselor where assigned.
  • Chair program planning meetings and staff meetings.
  • With Sr. Program Manager and LPHAs, develop and implement orientation and
    training programs for staff.
  • Hire new employees with the approval of the ACCS Sr. Program Manager.
  • Respond to difficulties or complaints related to staff member's job performance.
  • Provide clinical supervision of licensed staff and other staff as required, assists with
    selecting intervention strategies for individuals at risk and/or difficult to engage.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff and documents
    appropriately.
  • Respond to on-call needs of program as needed.
  • Provides regular and direct supervision, support, and guidance to program staff.
  • Address disciplinary issues as needed and completes annual performance evaluations.
  • Monitor and create staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage to meet individuals
    served needs.

Who You Are

  • Master’s Degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or
    Marriage and Family Therapy required.
  • Broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques, particularly severely and
    persistently mentally ill adults, severely emotionally disturbed children, substance use
    disorders, and the impact of social determinants of overall health.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Clinical Licensure (Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) preferred. If
    unlicensed, the Assistant Program Director will work towards attainment of their
    independent license as required by the program.
