Ability To:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the fundamental skills and techniques, as well as the advanced techniques needed for competitive athletes.
- Develop and maintain a disciplined program.
- Manage and demonstrate organizational skills.
- Demonstrate safety procedures and skill strategies in the mentioned sport.
- Work with a Booster organization and with ASB.
- Plan and organize practices; direct the activities of assistant coaches
- Supervise athletes while traveling to and from games and during practices and competitions.
- Develop and foster working relationships with students, parents, staff, and community.
- Demonstrate knowledge of A-G course requirements for Division 1 Athletics.
- Serve as an instructor and guide. Follow District Policies, site procedures, and CIF rules and procedures.
- Foster training in conduct, ethics, and sportsmanship for participants.
- Assist participants in the development of physical and leadership skills.
- Plan and implement tryouts that ensure equal opportunities for all students. Ensure that the selection process is fair, consistent, and impartial.
- Supervise the team before, during, and after practices, games, and sporting events.
- Collaborate with administration before ordering equipment.
- Manage a safe and organized process of storage for equipment on campus.
- Distribute and collect all equipment. Provide accurate inventory to administration as needed.
- Maintain open communication with parents.
- Safeguard fiscal responsibilities; prepare budgetary recommendations, monitoring, verifying, and reconciling expenditures of budgetary funds.
- Work closely with the assigned administrator to plan and implement activities and fundraisers.

- Experience of rules and regulations pertaining to the mentioned sport, league rules, and CIF rules.
- High school, college, or varsity level experience required in the specific sport which applying for (volleyball) and coaching experience required in the specific sport.
Prior to Employment Requirements:
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED Certification and CIF online regulations.
- Current Tuberculosis Test
- Fingerprints
- CTC Activity Supervisor Clearance
- Mandated Trainings/Courses

Salary Info
Varies, maximum allowed amount is $4,196 per season. All stipends are paid at the completion of the season.
