Position Summary:

The Clinical Coordinator assists with the daily coordination of personnel and resources within the assigned department. This role acts as a liaison between nursing departments and ancillary services to promote continuity of care, optimal patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Additionally, this position will support Audiology services by assisting the Audiologist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, patient scheduling, credentialing with hearing aid vendors and programs, and ordering supplies and hearing aids.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate daily workflow and support department operations 
  • Assist Audiologist with insurance verification and prior authorizations 
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records 
  • Support credentialing processes with hearing aid vendors and programs 
  • Order and track supplies and hearing aids 
  • Serve as liaison between departments to ensure continuity of care 
  • Promote patient satisfaction and efficient service delivery 
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned 

 

Reports To:  Director/Manager as assigned by department

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:
Audiology or Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) experience preferred, but not required

Required Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Effective communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-stress environment 
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
