Position Overview
The Supervisor of Mobile Operations provides direct supervision for mobile staging, metrology, and operational support staff. This position coordinates staff changes post release of schedule from Production Planning team and participates in staff call duties, performs bus driver duties and donor collection duties when required. Other responsibilities include submitting weekly time records for staff and assisting with daily QC review.
Essential Functions
Administrative:
- Provides direct supervision and guidance for mobile staging, metrology, and operational support staff
- Provides mobile staging, metrology, and operational support staffing schedule
- Reviews metrology records
Operational:
- Ensures supply of non-warehouse forms/tags used on mobiles are adequate
- Performs bus driver and blood collection duties when required
- Assists with departmental equipment validations
- Ensures staging and operational support staff assists with loading and unloading of supplies onto and off mobile drive vehicles when required
- Ensures mobile staging pods are adequately stocked and made available to outgoing blood drives in a timely fashion
- Ensures equipment returning from inside set-up drives are properly stored, and if required, charged
- Other duties as assigned or acquired
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation
- Experience in donor collections required
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Strong computer skills including intermediate skill level with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers
