Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Salesforce Solution Architect with deep technical expertise, strong business acumen, and proven experience in pre-sales and proposal solutioning. This role is critical in translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions while shaping technical direction and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in an architect role, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead solution design from concept through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Own end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, and Platform capabilities
- Design secure, scalable, and resilient multi-cloud Salesforce solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards
- Define integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and data migration strategies
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, performance optimization, and governance models
Proposal & Pre-Sales Leadership
- Lead technical solutioning for RFPs, RFIs, and proposals, collaborating closely with sales and delivery leadership
- Create high-impact solution narratives, architecture diagrams, effort estimates, and risk mitigation strategies
- Participate in client presentations, technical workshops, and solution walkthroughs as a trusted advisor
- Evaluate feasibility, complexity, and cost while balancing innovation with delivery practicality
Stakeholder & Communication Excellence
- Engage senior client stakeholders to understand strategic business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Act as the primary technical escalation point during solution design and delivery phases
Technical & Delivery Leadership
- Guide development teams through architecture decisions, design reviews, and implementation best practices
- Perform solution governance, code quality reviews, and architectural validations
- Mentor architects, developers, and technical leads across projects
- Support continuous improvement through reusable frameworks, accelerators, and reference architectures
Required Experience & Skills
Salesforce Expertise
- 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with 5+ years as a Solution/Technical Architect
- Strong expertise across Salesforce clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud Platform (Apex, LWC, Flows, DevOps)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security, data model design, sharing, and compliance
Architecture & Integration
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce architectures
- Strong integration experience using APIs, middleware (MuleSoft preferred), and external systems
- Expertise in data migration, large data volumes, and performance tuning
Pre-Sales & Proposal Experience
- Demonstrated success in proposal solutioning and technical pre-sales activities
- Ability to create compelling solution artifacts and influence win strategies
- Strong estimation, scoping, and risk assessment skills
Communication & Leadership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Executive presence with the ability to influence technical and business decision-makers
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration abilities
Certifications (Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progress toward CTA
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect / System Architect
- Salesforce Cloud Consultant certifications
