A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is a major manufacturer of water works valves and fittings, high-pressure gas valves, and residential and commercial water pumping systems.  The company is privately owned and has a history of quality products since its founding in 1856.

We currently have production opportunities at our facility in Albia, IA and are looking for great people who are interested in helping our boss – the customer.

Overview:

• Set up and operate both CNC and manual machines.
• Load and unload production equipment, perform quality inspections on parts and handle a fast paced work environment.  
• Assemble, test and package a variety of manufacturing products.
• Check parts for conformance to specifications.
• Material handling

Qualifications:

• Experience operating manual and/or CNC lathes, mills or machining centers preferred.
• We are willing to train the right candidate.

 
Wage and Benefits

• Wages start at $21.48 with an increase at 6 months and 1 year.
• Shift Differential - $1.50 for 2nd shift.
• $2000 Retention Bonus - $500 after 3 months , $500 at 6 months and $1000 after 12 months of employment.
• Excellent benefit package offered.
