Job Overview

As a member of the reservations team, you will handle guest concerns and questions regarding their vacation from the time they are quoted a price, until they check in on a variety of levels, via phone, email, or text in real time. Team members will work in multiple systems and work with multiple departments internally and externally to ensure the Guest has an optimal vacation experience throughout the guest life cycle based on the company's culture, motto, and standard operating procedures put in place. Reservations team members will assist with all things relative to reservations including but not limited to booking, quoting, moves, transfer bookings, management of guest critical documents, and cancellations/refunds.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide that critical first impression to our guests and have a natural passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Greet and complete standard check-in procedures for arriving guests daily, using both manual and computerized methods ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Courteously answer inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activities.
  • Control and record financial transactions.
  • Maintain good customer relations by staying informed of all company functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on the phone.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Contribute and maintain established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log-books to enhance department communications and operations.
  • Aid other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the company.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must have previous customer service experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license

 

Schedule

This is a full-time, in office position located in Destin, FL. This role may require you to work in different office locations from Okaloosa Island to Miramar Beach. Working hours are 9 am to 5 pm. Working days are scheduled based on business needs. Weekend work is required.
