We are seeking a Senior Manager - Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) to lead AeroFlow’s global HSE strategy and compliance efforts across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and standardizing HSE programs, driving regulatory compliance, supporting site-level HSE leadership, and fostering a proactive safety culture across all locations.
This position partners closely with operational leadership, site General Managers, and HSE Managers to ensure consistent implementation of HSE standards while balancing regulatory requirements with operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and influential leader who brings strong manufacturing HSE expertise, audit and compliance experience, and a passion for continuous improvement and employee safety.
So, what will you be doing as a Job Title?
- Lead the development and implementation of AeroFlow’s global HSE strategy, standards, and policies
- Establish and maintain a centralized HSE governance model with clear expectations across all site
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable international HSE regulations and standards
- Partner with site leadership teams to drive accountability for HSE performance and corrective actions
- Develop and oversee standardized HSE metrics, dashboards, and reporting cadences across locations
- Lead internal and external HSE audits, including tracking findings and corrective action closure
- Support incident management, investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning
- Drive initiatives focused on hazard prevention, risk reduction, and employee engagement
- Facilitate global HSE calls and promote sharing of best practices across sites
- Support contractor and third-party safety compliance where applicable
- Partner with executive leadership to align HSE priorities with broader business objectives
- Promote a strong safety-first culture that encourages employee involvement and continuous improvement
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10+ years of progressive HSE experience within a manufacturing environment; aerospace industry experience strongly preferred
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations and standards across jurisdictions, including US (OSHA, EPA), UK (HSE, Environment Agency), and France (French labor, HSE laws, and EU directives).
- Experience leading audits, compliance programs, and corrective action initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively across multiple locations and functional teams
- Experience with incident investigation methodologies and root cause analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
