    DESCRIPTION:  Position requires individual experienced in supervision and performance of all aspects of maintenance of facilities and grounds, which includes carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, as well as, supervision of custodial and grounds maintenance staff.

    JOB SUMMARY:  This is a 12-month position, with negotiable salary package that includes paid single health/life/dental insurance coverage and $900 annual health reimbursement account, 12 sick leave and 2 personal leave days, 10 days vacation following a completed 12 months of employment, as well as retirement plan through Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.


    WORKING CONDITIONS:  The school district is located in northern Greene County and includes three main facilities, one located in Roodhouse and two in White Hall, as well as various outdoor athletic fields and a separate transportation garage.  Position requires availability of maintenance director for daily operation as well as some evening, weekend, and emergency response situations, supervision of a current custodial staff for all facilities of seven.  North Greene Elementary is a Pre-K through 6th grade facility housing approximately 540 students and 65 staff, North Greene Jr.-Sr. High houses grades 7-12 with 368 students and 57 staff, and the Administrative Education Center houses the district office and board of education office with 5 staff members, as well as the Regional Office of Education Alternative Education Center with approximately 25 students and 5 staff members.
