For over 30 years, Janian has been a leader in developing and implementing person-centered, community-based psychiatric care for New Yorkers with the lived experience of homelessness.  We offer mission-driven clinicians a supportive, flexible workplace that encourages clinical autonomy, meaningful work, and social justice.  We continuously strive to create a practice that nurtures therapeutic relationships, supports evidence-based care, and grapples with the social and economic forces that lead to inequities and disparities in clinical outcomes.  We empower people to take control of their health and work towards their goals. We recognize the impact of social determinants on health and directly intervene to connect patients with housing, benefits, and employment. Psychiatrists enjoy expert supervision and protected professional development and educational time including a Grand Rounds series granting CME credits.  We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and excellent benefits.
