Pay offered will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and geographic location. We may pay more or less than the range based on the person’s qualifications. In good faith we believe the range is what we will pay for this role at the time of the posting and may change in the future. What you will do:Create power distribution diagrams, PLC I/O schematics, motor control diagrams, panel layouts, and interconnect drawings.Produce schematic diagrams and panel elevations in AutoCAD Electrical in accordance with department standards.Accurately represent electrical control functionality and component operation on drawings.Assist engineers with schematic and panel design, bills of materials (BOM), and formal engineering documentation.Prepare submittal packages including drawings, manufacturer catalog sheets, loop diagrams, letters, RFIs, load calculations, and other required documentation.Use the company ERP system to generate submittal documents and maintain project records.Track and forecast hours related to submittals and report progress to the department manager.Coordinate with internal teams such as purchasing, quality, production, and field service.Interpret engineering sketches, contract plans, specifications, and related technical data.Support integration of electrical components into new and existing equipment.Learn and apply core AutoCAD Electrical tools and industry design practices.Participate in departmental initiatives and stay informed of emerging engineering trends.Perform additional duties as assigned.Demonstrated Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access), AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Adobe AcrobatAbility to read and understand schematicsKnowledge and understanding of electrical designUnderstanding of power distribution and control logicAbility to design all aspect of electrical components, equipment, and machineryUnderstand of manufacturing workflow, including planning activitiesDemonstrate concise and clear communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to comprehend and apply principles of calculus, modern algebra, and statistical theoryExtensive knowledge in AutoCAD, computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipmentSuperior written and verbal communication skills requiredNeed to have excellent organizational skills
