Job Description

About Aurora Organic Dairy

Aurora Organic Dairy is a leader in organic milk production, dedicated to sustainable farming practices and delivering high-quality organic dairy products to families across the United States. Based in Boulder, Colorado, we combine innovative operations with strong financial stewardship to support our mission of organic integrity from farm to table.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and eager Accounting Intern to join our finance team for the summer of 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on exposure to corporate accounting in a dynamic, values-driven organization. You will support day-to-day accounting tasks while contributing to meaningful software implementation projects. At the end of the summer, you will present your accomplishments directly to our senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform entry-level accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, filing, and basic financial reporting support.

- Assist the accounting team with the implementation and testing of FloQast (accounting workflow and close management software).

- Support the implementation and rollout of Parabola (automation and data workflow software).

- Help maintain organized financial records and improve process documentation.

- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with finance professionals.

- Complete a final summer project summarizing your milestones, learnings, and contributions, and present it to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

- No prior professional experience required — we value enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail.

- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel (or willingness to learn quickly).

- Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours/week) for the duration of the summer program.
