Primary Responsibilities:
  • Inspects product to determine compliance to specified drawings involved in various machining processes such as Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Deep Hole, OD, ID Grinding, Thread Grinding and NDT
  • Perform inspections to demonstrate compliance to blueprints and work instructions including but not limited to: first article (FAI), Critical To Quality (CTQ’s), receiving, in-process, floor and final inspections.
  • Maintain gauge calibration system through the following activities: inspection of gages for due dates and condition; collection and distribution of gages for third party calibration; assure that out of calibration gages are never in use.
  • Maintain NCR system by generating and distributing detailed and legible NCR’s as required.
  • Complete required documentation to for traceability, compliance, shipping, etc. 
  • Set-up and utilize precision measuring equipment, gages, CMM etc. to complete required inspector tasks.
  • Utilize Quality System procedures.
  • Perform Audits as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Two years of quality assurance and inspection experience
  • Two years of general blueprint interpretation experience
  • Two years of set-up and use of industry accepted (general) measuring equipment
  • Two years of familiarity with Geometric tolerances ASME Y14.5
  • Familiarity and understanding of geometric and dimensional tolerancing
  • Basic PC skills / Data Entry
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
