Summary:

Under the direction of the Sous Chef on duty, responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the dish machine.

Responsibilities:

1. Operates dish machine and compartment washing sink.

2. Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition and free of any contamination risk.

3. Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.

4. Stocks all plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.

5. Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.

6. Must have working knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation.

7. Maintains care and cleanliness of kitchen equipment, walk-ins, work areas, utensils, etc.

8. Maintains a professional appearance at all times.

9. May assist culinary staff when required.

10. Assumes/performs other duties as assigned.
