Job Description:

Has responsibility and accountability for improved communication process and patient satisfaction by keeping the patient and family members updated on the procedure, delays and other information as directed by the surgeon throughout the perioperative process. Will assist perioperative services in patient throughput during the perioperative phase while viewing this process from the families perspective.Education:
▪ Required: Associates Degree in a Related Field
▪ Preferred: Bachelors in a Related Field
Experience:
▪ Preferred: Prior healthcare experience
Skills:
▪ Must have the ability to interact positively with patients and family members of varied ages and cultural backgrounds.
▪ Must work independently, showing initiative in effective problem solving skills.
