The Project Director is responsible for overseeing multiple ERP implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client specifications. This role involves managing project teams, addressing risks, and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to align project goals with business objectives. The Project Director ensures the execution of complex projects, managing financials, timelines, and resources.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
Ensure project completion within defined scope, timeline, and budget, managing project profitability, resource scheduling, and revenue forecasting
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as required
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, delegating tasks to meet project milestones
Provide regular project status reports to clients and internal stakeholders, detailing progress, risks, and solutions
Facilitate communication among project teams, clients, and leadership, addressing issues and providing updates as necessary
Support pre-sales activities and identify opportunities for additional services within existing projects
Basic Qualifications:
Experience managing ERP software implementation projects
Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies
Experience leading project teams and ensuring project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline
Discrete manufacturing industry expertise
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
