Room Attendant
Position Summary
Our Room Attendants are dedicated to ensuring the comprehensive cleanliness and meticulous preparation of guest rooms and suites. They consistently uphold the highest standards of quality and uniformity, significantly enhancing the overall guest experience and satisfaction. Their keen attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence play a crucial role in maintaining our hotel's impeccable reputation. By meticulously attending to every aspect of room preparation, from arranging amenities to ensuring every corner is clean, they ensure that each guest enjoys a comfortable and welcoming environment. Their efforts not only contribute to the physical cleanliness of the rooms but also to the hotel's overall ambiance and guest experience. - Thoroughly clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and suites, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
- Replenish and restock room amenities, including paper products, soap, and towels.
- Maintain the cleanliness of exterior entry areas and hallways.
- Restock and organize housekeeping carts daily.
- Administer key control for issued keys and manage keys left by guests.
- Deliver lost-and-found items to the Executive Housekeeper for logging and storage.
- Report any unusual situations in guest rooms or suites to the Executive Housekeeper immediately.
- Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests.
- Accommodate special requests from guests.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of guest rooms and suites.
- Keep linen closets and supply areas organized and tidy.
- Report maintenance needs and address guest requests or complaints promptly.
Additional Responsibilities
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and work rules as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Be flexible with work schedules to meet the hotel's 24/7 demands.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift.
Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, as well as bend, stoop, and move continuously during the workday.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
