Manages and grows an existing book of mid-size employer group business (50–100 employees) while actively pursuing new sales opportunities through strong broker partnerships. Serves as a trusted, hands-on resource to brokers and clients by ensuring health plan options are well understood, competitive, and aligned with employer needs.
Works closely with brokers to onboard new employer groups, manage ongoing relationships, and address day-to-day plan questions, including claims issues, benefit interpretation, eligibility, billing, and service concerns. Acts as the primary point person for resolving issues, coordinating internally with claims, customer service, underwriting, and enrollment teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
Leads the annual renewal process for assigned groups by reviewing plan performance, identifying trends, proposing updated or alternative plan options, and helping brokers and employers navigate rate, benefit, and coverage changes. Supports broker conversations with practical recommendations that balance cost, benefits, and employee experience.

-Develops annual account plans and recommends strategies for account growth and retention.
-Coordinates with account support teams and other internal departments as necessary to resolve client issues

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
Licenses and Credentials
- Massachusetts Licensed Insurance Agent required
Experience
- At least 3-5 years of health plan (either at a carrier or for a broker) account management experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong relationship management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep client management experience.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management and planning skills.

- This is a hybrid role that requires an on-site presence at Assembly Row at least 1x/quarter plus frequent travel to client events (including at night and on weekends), particularly during renewal season
