Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Skilled Nursing
Location: Northgate Health and Rehabilitation Center – Bessemer, Alabama

Northgate Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team in Bessemer, AL. This is a key clinical leadership role within a skilled nursing facility, supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing operations, driving quality outcomes, and ensuring excellent resident care.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations
• Supervise and guide nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist with survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives
• Monitor clinical documentation, care plans, and resident outcomes
• Participate in staff scheduling, training, and performance management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RN license in the state of Alabama
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and clinical operations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
