Position Overview:

As a Metal Grinder/ Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our Fabrication Department, contributing to the cutting and preparation of raw metal materials for the welding process. This position involves operating various metal fabrication machinery, interpreting manufacturing drawings, and ensuring the quality of finished products. Job Responsibilities:

• Learn to operate metal fabrication machinery, including grinders, hand tools and pneumatic sanders.
• Read and understand basic measuring tools.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings/prints.
• Measure and cut metal materials to specified dimensions.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete projects.
• Follow established procedures and protocols in the metal fabrication process.
• Understand and adhere to the production schedule.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures and complying with safety and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a group environment.
• Capability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines with a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with ease of movement in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage in repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push, and pull without difficulties.
• Stand on feet during work shift and effectively communicate issues.
