Job Description

JOB TITLE: QA/QC- Mechanical 

SUMMARY: Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Mechanical systems within a data-center environment. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform initial, follow up, and final system walk downs 
  • Work closely with contractors, and subcontractors to make sure industry and customer specific procedures are met 
  • Understand and enforce regulations, codes, and industry standards for inspection of plumbing, HVAC, PVC, and PVDF. 
  • Responsible for inspection of all hydro related systems.
  • Work with key stakeholders to plan and organize activities concerned with construction projects; discuss such matters as work procedures and quality issues 
  • Record and organize all necessary documentation to record the implementation, maintenance and effectiveness of the QA program 
  • Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project 
  • Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress 
  • Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities 
  • Represent company in pre-construction, design, and project meetings and attend operations meetings 
  • Perform final QA inspection on installations 
  • Answering questions of a technical nature during project execution 
  • Review with system owner and provide technical verification of hardware and configuration of installations per design documents 
  • Ensure equipment and overall system OAT/FAT process meets expectations
