SUMMARY:

​Responsible for overseeing day to day patient care,
supervising, directing and developing nurse staff to ensure quality patient
care within skilled nursing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Utilizing expertise in the leadership role as a manager of an
  assigned unit
• Collaborating with the Director of Nursing in maintaining
  adequate Nursing coverage to provide safe Nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7
  days a week
• Developing, implementing and evaluating protocols/standards of
  assigned unit while following the proper approval channels
• Assessing the work performance of Nursing personnel
• Assuming Nursing administrative responsibilities of the Center
  for weekend and holiday coverage as requested

REQUIREMENTS:

• New York RN license
• Up-to-date physical assessment skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles
• 1+ year experience in leadership (i.e., Head Nurse, Supervisor,
  Unit Manger etc.) 
• CPR certification
