Director of Nursing (DON) - Middleborough, MA

Job Summary:

HireCare Services — Massachusetts is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our team of healthcare professionals at our facility in Middleborough, MA. As a key member of our management team, the DON will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and programs

  • Manage and supervise a team of nursing staff, including nurses, nurse assistants, and other support staff

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including state and federal laws, and accreditation standards

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical staff, patients, and families

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitoring patient outcomes

  • Collaborate with other departments, including administration, finance, and human resources

  • Recruit, hire, and orient new nursing staff members

  • Develop and manage budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Current Massachusetts RN license

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation:

  • Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 annually
