Intern – Facilities Level 4
Position Summary
Internships at Smith are an opportunity for students to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in their field of study, apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges, and develop professional skills that prepare them for future careers.
The Facilities Intern Level 3 will work alongside our Facilities Coordinator on all aspects related to the smooth and safe running of our office environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and suppliers to our office, ensuring they check in and out properly;
- Perform data entry and admin tasks;
- Purchase refreshments, and other ad hoc purchases for the office;
- Maintain common areas tidy and organized;
- Help in organizing employee events;
- Sort and deliver incoming mail;
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining building management system;
- Assist with organizing events and CSR initiatives ;
- Support, preventive and corrective maintenance activities and track their schedules;
- Assists with writing and delivering internal communications;
- Receive reports from vendors and store in appropriate folders.

Work location is Nijverheidsweg 2 , Haarlem
The intern will work within the same schedule as regular employees; Monday through Friday from 08:00 – 17:00.
The intern’s work week will be decided in conjunction with the academic supervisor.
An internship allowance of EUR 700.- per month, based on a fulltime 40-hour work week, will be provided.
