Position Summary:

The Front of House Associate is the face of the Riverview Terrace Cafe, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring the cleanliness of the dining area.

Essential Functions:

• Work assigned shifts in the Riverview Terrace Cafe. Shifts will be variable and include weekends and holidays;
• Conduct the daily front of house operations of the cafe and cash handling needs;
• Take orders and serve food and beverages to cafe guests;
• Maintain a clean and welcoming dining room space, and provide excellent customer service;
• Demonstrate menu knowledge, ingredient, and partnership familiarity when answering guest questions;
• Maintain knowledge of Taliesin Preservation tour operations and public access programs for response to guest inquiries;
• Help set up/clean up and perform side work for cafe service, programs, and events;
• Adhere to health department regulations; and
• Other duties as assigned.
