Position Overview   

The Distribution Center is the operational backbone of Kendra Scott, and the DC PROJECT AND PROCESS ANALYST plays a key role in driving operational excellence through project execution and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Distribution Operations, this position leads operational initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and service performance across DC and enterprise operations. 

 

This role serves as the execution lead for active projects, translating leadership priorities and continuous improvement opportunities into structured project plans and driving execution from concept through post-launch stabilization. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead cross-functional operational and system projects from initiation through post-launch stabilization, ensuring alignment, execution, and follow-through 

  • Drive cross-functional coordination across DC Operations, Inventory Control, IT, Finance & Accounting, Asset Protection, and external partners to ensure successful execution 

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies 

  • Translate leader priorities and insights into structured project plans and actionable improvements 

  • Analyze data to identify opportunities, support prioritization, and drive measurable results 

  • Identify, prioritize, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma 

  • Lead post-implementation efforts, identifying gaps and driving optimization following changes 

  • Develop dashboards and executive reporting to communicate project status, risks, and results 

  • Support WMS enhancements, system integrations, automation initiatives, and operational pilots 

  • Ensure initiatives meet regulatory, financial control, and asset protection standards 

  • Document standard procedures and support change management to ensure sustainability 

  • Monitor key performance indicators related to productivity, quality, performance, and accuracy 

  • Drive stakeholder accountability to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within scope 

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding strategic initiatives, product launches, and vendor relationships 

  • Support operational readiness and ensure adoption of new processes, systems, and workflows 

  • Ensure projects and process improvements align with safety and compliance standards 

 

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related (or equivalent experience) 

  • 2–4 years of experience in distribution, supply chain, operations, or project management 

  • Experience leading projects and process improvements with measurable results 

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and lifecycle execution 

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (analysis, pivot tables, Power Query) and PowerPoint 

  • Experience with PM tools such as Smartsheet (or similar platforms) and reporting tools 

  • Ability to influence stakeholders across business functions without direct authority 

  • Experience supporting safety programs or analyzing safety performance metrics 

  • Strong analytical mindset with structured problem-solving capabilities 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to leadership 

  • Experience prioritizing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment 

  • Highly organized and can manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment 

  • A growth attitude: desire to learn, grow and embrace new ideas 

  • Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification 

  • Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification
