Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Always greet customers as they approach the department, provide excellent customer service through entire interaction.
- Set up food service, kitchen, prep stations, and equipment for business day.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of hot and cold food items.
- Ensure proper utensils, napkins and condiments are available to customers.
- Check food temperatures before serving following all food safety guidelines.
- Check Cold case temperatures frequently.
- Visually inspect all products for quality or out of date labels and remove from selling floor as needed.
- Take orders and serve food items to customers following customers specific requests.
- Clean, wash and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, pots, pans, service ware, utensils, and equipment.
- Collect and place garbage/compost in designated containers.
- May provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management immediately.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and putting loads away in an orderly manner.
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
