Description
The Virtual Care Coordinator works collaboratively with health care providers to deliver a meaningful patient experience, while using critical thinking skills to inform patients and provide care recommendations before and after meeting with a virtual care. As a Virtual Care Coordinator, you will have a profound effect on the lives of the patients through communicating with clinicians to educate and support patients on the use of health supplements, medications, the creation of lifestyle transformation plans, and other post-consult questions. The Coordinator will also triage and monitor incoming care requests to make sure that patients’ care needs are being appropriately addressed by their selected telehealth service type. The role is an important piece of the continuity of care for patients at The Wellness Company.
Experience required to perform this job.
· 3+ years experience in a patient care role
· RN, PA, or NP License Required
· Excellent written and verbal customer service skills
Preferred experience required for the position
· 2+ years experience as a care provider in a TeleHealth platform preferred
· Experience in high-growth start-up companies preferred, not required
