POSITION SUMMARY
Agtegra Cooperative is building a place where neighbors, families and travelers can connect, fuel up and feel at home by constructing a new Travel Center on the east side of Aberdeen. Located at the corner of U.S. Highway 12 and Brown County 14, the Travel Center will serve everyone from truckers to local families on the go.
With construction set to begin soon and an anticipated opening in late 2026, this travel center will offer a welcoming environment with fresh-made meals, clean amenities and well-lit fuel and diesel pumps with easy access for trucks and farm equipment.
As this exciting new Travel Center takes shape, Agtegra is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to help bring this vision to life.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead and support day-to-day operations across the travel center
- Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team
- Foster a culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, and community connection
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for all guests
- Support business performance while adapting to evolving services and offerings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support long-term success
This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a project from the ground up, with the ability to influence operations, team culture, and the overall guest experience as the location grows into a destination for both travelers and the local community.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Five (5) years of related experience; or combination of education and experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- English Proficiency.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- An operational mindset with the ability to adapt and problem-solve.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
- Interest in contributing to a growing operation with evolving opportunities.
