Job Description
Overview:

The Escrow Assistant provides essential support to escrow officers by managing administrative tasks, preparing documents, and ensuring smooth and accurate processing of real estate transactions. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.



Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Open and maintain escrow files in compliance with company standards
• Prepare and review closing documents for accuracy
• Communicate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to gather required information
• Track transaction timelines and ensuring deadlines are met
• Assist with balancing files and preparing disbursement instructions
• Handle confidential information with discretion
• Provide administrative support to escrow officers and closing teams



Education:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in escrow and title software systems; Knowledge of real estate transaction processes
• Soft Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Previous experience in escrow, title, or real estate preferred

 

Preferred (but not required)
• Notary Public (State of Colorado)
• Title Insurance Producer License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)



Experience:

• Exceptional customer service skills, detail oriented, excellent communication, and organizational skills
• Understands escrow/closing standards, title commitments and requirements, real estate regulations and guidelines, proration, per diems, lender documents, real estate documents, document preparation, etc.
• Team player, self-starter, committed, dedicated, respectful and hard working
• Candidate must possess the ability to work independently
• Candidate must be comfortable meeting with clients and prospects in varied settings

Additional Information:

This position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $19.00 - $22.00 based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. Actual rate may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including skillset, experience and location. The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
