An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Account Director to join our Paid Content sales team.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven self-starter with a tenacious and committed approach. The ideal candidate will have solid B2B Paid Content sales experience.
Deliver corporate (multi-user) sales against revenue objectives set for the subscription brands in Marcomms Marketing Week & Creative Review
Confident in arranging and conducting high-level face to face meetings with key clients with good presentation skills
Sell into target markets and grow revenue substantially across core brands
Grow user-paid subscription accounts to improve yields
Manage and improve renewals for non-corporate accounts; identify and move on opportunities to upsell these into multi-user accounts
Drive New business Growth using marketing qualified leads and analytics tools available
- Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities with current corporates and identifying strategies to improve and maintain renewal rates
- Achieving new corporate subscription targets by group and/or company
- Demonstrate a robust and consistent sales strategy where yield is increased over time
Work with Marketing Manager to identify gaps in user paid files and build leads, across identified lead generation channels, to create new opportunities and initiate conversations
Understand needs for key clients and put together attractive offers, working across content and commercial teams to develop packages to meet client needs and approach clients with integrated proposals
Selling across different brands and portfolios
Proven track record in selling – preferably in B2B
Account management of blue-chip organisations
Selling to agencies and brands
Proven track record in selling to large organisations at C-Suite level
Working with editorial teams to develop new products to market
