Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic team player and experienced hospitality sales professional to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales, with a proven ability to cultivate client relationships and drive revenue. This role involves maintaining and expanding a diverse prospect list, identifying new business opportunities across corporate, group, and leisure segments. Key performance indicators include achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets, increasing year-over-year revenue growth, maintaining a high conversion rate from leads to bookings, and expanding the client base through proactive outreach. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, contribute innovative strategies, and consistently deliver exceptional service to meet and exceed performance goals.
Required
- Valid driver’s license and approved driving record
- Availability to travel within and out of the state, staying overnight on occasions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in Sales
- 7-10 years of experience in Hospitality
Typical Schedule
Days:
Monday–Friday, weekends and holidays as needed
Hours:
9am–5pm, additional hours as needed
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and proactively develop relationships with third party group sourcing firms to expand our groups lodging business and retain existing business
- Forecast, evaluate, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual groups lodging sales targets to include room revenue, room nights, and groups ADR
- Define, create, and refine processes to improve the group’s booking and onsite experiences to include site visits, contract/sales agreements, invoicing
- Participate in weekly groups meeting to provide sales updates and assist in inbound group planning with internal stakeholders
- Complete special projects as assigned
