Overall Responsibilities: The position of Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the standardization, development, and support of complex manufacturing processes required to build circuit card assemblies. This role is also responsible for providing input around the DFM of new products to ensure products are designed for optimal manufacturing. In addition, the Sr. Process Engineer is expected to manage multiple projects for continuous improvement and lead a continuous improvement culture. This position supports the day to day operations of the floor to ensure that the operations team is successful.


Duties:

· Standardize current processes and implement controls to improve each process

· Develop and implement new manufacturing processes as required

· Support the development of the new technology roadmap at the site and globally

· Prepare work instructions, engineering guidelines, reports, and other documentation as required

· Assist with development of work cells and time study analysis as needed

· Analyze data and implement corrective actions to improve quality and production efficiency

· Assure that all processes meet customer requirements

· Support NPI launch activities and lessons learned

· Provide training to engineers, technicians, and machine operators as needed

· Travel to suppliers and customers as required

· Supports and adheres to the Quality Management System

· Must be an USA citizen or ITAR compliant

· Performs other duties as assigned


Education:

· BS Degree required

· Lean and Six Sigma Certifications preferred

· SMT Process Engineer Certification preferred

· PMP Certification preferred


Experience:

· 7+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing required

· Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001 required

· Leadership and engineering management experience preferred
