Maintenance Director
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Director to join our team at Gallaway Health and Rehab in Gallaway, Tennessee. As a key member of our facility team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our property, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and employees.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure regular upkeep and repair of facilities, equipment, and grounds
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
Manage and coordinate maintenance projects, including budgets, timelines, and resources
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment
Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules
Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and costs while improving efficiency and quality
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
