About the Role 

As a Tax AI Analyst, you will sit at the pinnacle of the tax profession’s digital transformation. This is not a traditional tax compliance role; it is a high-impact position designed to drive the adoption of Generative AI and enabling technologies across a practice of 1,000+ tax professionals. 

You will serve as the "translator" between the technical tax world and the product/technology team. Your day-to-day will involve partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify manual "jobs to be done," co-building AI-driven workflows, and leading the training sessions that turn experimental AI into a standard firm-wide capability. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Requirements Translation: Partner with tax SMEs to map technical workflows (e.g., M-1 adjustments, provision analysis) and translate ambiguous needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. 

  • AI Enablement & Training: Design and lead live enablement sessions, "office hours," and recorded training modules to upskill practitioners from new hires to senior partners. 

  • Co-Building & Prompt Engineering: Work side-by-side with tax practitioners to build AI-enabled workflows within enterprise-grade tools (e.g., Azure Open AI, ChatGPT Enterprise). 

  • Standardization: Convert one-off successes into reusable assets, playbooks, and organizational prompts. 

  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new AI features, documenting defects with clear technical context and prioritization. 

  • Change Management: Create user-facing guidance, job aids, and release notes to drive consistent adoption and excitement across the practice. 

About You 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Tax Domain Expertise: Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, or a related discipline. You must be fluent in tax concepts to engage SMEs in deep technical discussions. 

  • Applied GenAI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using ChatGPT or similar LLMs to accelerate knowledge work. You understand that "prompting" is about structure, context, and iterative refinement. 

  • Technical Documentation: Ability to translate business needs into structured documentation (User Stories/Backlogs). 

  • Communication Powerhouse: Comfortable presenting to large groups and building immediate credibility with senior tax leadership. 

  • Organizational Discipline: High level of follow-through; you excel at documentation, backlog tracking, and status communication. 

Preferred "Pluses" 

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile delivery practices. 

  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms. 

  • Technical skills in Python or data analytics applied to document processing. 

  • Exposure to Azure AI Document Intelligence or similar OCR/Classification tools. 

  • Bilingual: Proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus.
