    The Apex Regional Program is not a part of the Glenwood Community School District, but is housed within our district.

    The Apex Regional Program in Glenwood, IA is a private, alternative Level III K-8 school program seeking applicants for positions of behavior specialist and registered behavior technician (RBT). We have a small student-teacher ratio and a team of behavior specialists, teachers, RBTs, BCBAs and licensed therapists on staff who work together to determine treatment plans and collaborate on IEPs. Qualified applicant should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, experience working with children or disabled adults, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. For applicants interested in gaining RBT certification, training and supervision can be provided.  It is an essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include: long periods of lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and engaging with children on the floor or standing for long periods.
