Job Description

Summary

The Service Hardware Intern will primarily assist in tasks as delegated by the service technicians. Additional tasks could include cleaning electronics parts, doing basic testing on components, and pulling/shelving components.

Responsibilities

Maintain order/cleanliness in Service Hardware Group stock areas

Provide proper care and maintenance of company property, including but not limited to office, computer, and telephone equipment

Requires some physical ability such as moderate lifting, working on ladders and in lift platforms at heights, etc.

Other duties as required

Qualifications/Skills:

Strong, demonstrable computer and networking skills required

Customer service experience ideal

Strong written communication skills

Good verbal communication skills and very strong attention to detail

A desire to solve problems and to develop and follow clear procedures

The ability to work with numbers which includes the ability to cycle count items in inventory

Physical ability such as moderate lifting and working on ladders

Able to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Stoop, kneel, & crouch

Frequently lift and or move 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and or move 50 pounds.

Education and Licensing

Network and PC knowledge required

Actively enrolled in or recently graduated from an educational institution
